Protest by DRT lawyers condemning police attack on lawyers

HYDERABAD (CLiC2NEWS):Lawyers on Wednesday protested at the DRT (Debts Recovery Tribunal) condemning police attacks on lawyers. It is known that two lawyers of Jangam Bar Association went to the police station to talk about the case were misbehaved and assaulted by the police. As a protest against this misbehaviour the Janagama Bar Association has called for boycott of court proceedings.

In order to show solidarity the lawyers of the DRT (Debts Recovery Tribunal) Bar Association of Hyderabad protested against the attack on the lawyers in Janagama.. On this occasion, the President of Association Sri G K Deshpande and General Secretary Sri D Raghavulu and other lawyers wore protest badges and expressed their deep concern and strong objection to the attacks on lawyers who are arguing in many cases in Telugu states. Lawyers claim that these attacks are a violation of the rights of lawyers. They demanded that the government should provide adequate security to the lawyers.

DRT Bar Association President GK Deshpande, General Secretary D. Raghavulu, Joint Secretary K. Kalyan Chakraborty, Treasurer Adhiran Kiran Raj, Sports and Cultural Secretary CH Kishore, Executive Members  A. Naresh, Shravan Kumar Ragi,  P Rajeshwari, several senior and junior lawyers participated.
