క‌డెం (CLiC2NEWS): నిర్మ‌ల్ జిల్లాలోని క‌డెం ప్రాజెక్టుకు భారీగా వ‌ర‌ద నీరు చేర‌డంతో 14 గేట్లను ఎత్తి నీటిని దిగువ‌కు విడుద‌ల చేస్తున్నారు. ఇంకా నాలుగు గేట్లు తెరుచుకోవాల్సి ఉంది. సాంకేతిక లోపం కార‌ణంగా నాల‌గు గేట్లు మొరాయిస్తున్నాయి. వ‌ర‌ద ఉధృతి ఇలాగే కొన‌సాగితే ముంపు త‌ప్ప‌ద‌ని స్థానికులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
ఎగువ ప్రాంతాల నుండి ప్రాజెక్టులోకి భారీగా వ‌ర‌ద నీరు చేరుతుంది. జలాశయం నీటి మ‌ట్టం 700 అడుగులు చేరుకుంది. మొత్ం 3.8 క్యూసెక్కుల వ‌ర‌ద నీరు చేర‌గా.. 2.4 ల‌క్ష‌ల క్యూసెక్కుల నీటిని 14 గేట్లను ఎత్తి కిందికి పంపిస్తున్నారు.
ఈ క్ర‌మంలో మంత్రి ఇంద్ర‌క‌ర‌ణ్ రెడ్డి స్వ‌యంగా ప‌రిస్థితిని ప‌ర్య‌వేక్షించారు. ఇప్ప‌టికే ముంపు గ్రామాల‌కు చెందిన 7 వేల మందిని పున‌రావాస ప్రాంతాల‌కు త‌ర‌లించిన‌ట్లు స‌మాచారం.
అయితే ఎగువ నుండి వ‌చ్చే నీరు.. వాగులు వంక‌లు పొంగి ప్ర‌వ‌హిస్తుంటే ఎల్లంప‌ల్లి ప్రాజెక్టుకు1.21 ల‌క్ష‌లో క్యూసెక్కుల నీరు చేరుతుంది. మంచిర్యాల జిల్లా ఎల్లంప‌ల్లి జలాశయం నీటి మ‌ట్టం 148 మీట‌ర్లు కాగా.. ప్ర‌స్తుతం 146.24 కు వాట‌ర్ చేరింది. జలాశయం 20 గేట్లు ఎత్తి నీటిని దిగువ‌కు విడుద‌ల చేస్తున్నారు.
