న్యూఢిల్లీ (CLiC2NEWS): భార‌త్ సుప్రీంకోర్టు 49వ చీఫ్ జ‌స్టిస్‌గా జ‌స్టిస్ ఉద‌య్ ఉమేశ్ ల‌లిత్ ప్ర‌మాణం చేశారు. రాష్ట్రప‌తి ద్రౌప‌ది ముర్ము శ‌నివారం జ‌స్టిస్ ల‌లిత్‌తో సిజెఐగా ప్ర‌మాణం చేయాంచారు. సుప్రీం కోర్టు చీఫ్ జ‌స్టిస్‌గా ఉన్న జ‌స్టిస్ ఎన్వీ ర‌మ‌ణ ఈ నెల 26న ప‌ద‌వీ విర‌మ‌ణ చేశారు. ఆయ‌న స్థానంలో జ‌స్టిస్ ల‌లిత్ సిజేఐగా బాధ్య‌త‌లు తీసుకున్నారు.
ఈ ప్ర‌మాణ స్వీకారోత్స‌వ కార్య‌క్ర‌మంలో మాజీ రాష్ట్రప‌తి రామ్‌నాథ్ కోవింద్‌, ఉప‌రాష్ట్రప‌తి జ‌గ‌దీప్ ధ‌న్‌ఖ‌డ్‌, కేంద్ర‌మంత్రులు త‌దిత‌రులు హాజ‌ర‌య్యారు.
కాగా జ‌స్టిస్ ల‌లిత్‌కు వ‌చ్చే న‌వంబ‌ర్ 8వ తేదీతో 65 సంవ‌త్స‌రాల వ‌య‌స్సు పూర్తి కానున్న‌ది.. దాంతో ఆయ‌న కేవ‌లం మూడు నెల‌ల క‌న్నా త‌క్కువ స‌మ‌య‌మే సిజెఐగా కొన‌సాగ‌నున్నారు.
జ‌స్టిస్ ల‌లిత్ 1957 న‌వంబ‌రు 9వ తేదీన జ‌న్మించారు. 1983 జూన్‌లో న్యాయ‌వాద వృత్తి చేపట్టారు. 1985 డిసెంబ‌రు వ‌ర‌కు బాంబే హైకోర్టులో ప్రాక్టీసు చేశారు. 1986 నుంచి సుప్రీం కోర్టులో లాయ‌ర్‌గా కొన‌సాగుతున్నారు. 2014 ఆగ‌స్టు 13వ తేదీ నుంచి సుప్రీంకోర్టు న్యాయ‌మూర్తిగా నియ‌మితుల‌య్యారు.
