International Yoga Day Celebrations Held Grandly Under the Aegis of Ojas Tejo Yoga

Hyderabad (CLiC2NEWS): The 12th International Yoga Day celebrations were held with great enthusiasm on Sunday at Ojas Tejo Yoga Institute in Indraprastha Colony (DD Colony), Amberpet, Hyderabad. The event, led by yoga teacher and institute founder Varsha Deshpande, witnessed active participation from residents, students, and yoga practitioners.

People of all age groups enthusiastically took part in the celebrations and demonstrated various yoga asanas. The venue was filled with yoga enthusiasts, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

Speaking on the occasion, Varsha Deshpande extended her greetings on the 12th International Yoga Day and highlighted the importance of yoga in everyday life. She emphasized how regular yoga practice contributes to physical fitness, mental well-being, and overall health.

Several students shared their personal experiences, stating that consistent yoga practice had brought significant improvements in their physical and mental health. They noted that yoga had introduced positive changes in their lifestyles and helped them achieve greater balance and peace of mind.

Speakers at the event explained the significance of observing International Yoga Day on June 21, noting its connection with the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. They discussed the scientific and spiritual importance of the date in relation to yoga traditions.

A special session was conducted on yoga postures associated with the Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat Chakra). Experts explained that these asanas help improve communication skills, self-expression, confidence, and inner clarity.

The program also featured an awareness session on the Yogic Diet, where experts discussed foods that support yoga practice, healthy eating habits, and dietary guidelines for better digestion, energy, and overall wellness.

Speakers further stressed the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life, particularly for women coping with the demands of modern urban lifestyles. The event concluded with demonstrations of various yoga asanas and a collective yoga session, inspiring participants to embrace yoga as a path to holistic health and well-being.
